Alp Avni Yelkenbiçer

Born in Izmir in 1984, Alp Avni Yelkenbiçer; He graduated from Bornova Anatolian High School in 2002 and completed his undergraduate education at Bilkent University-Business Faculty in 2006. He earned his master’s degree in International Trade from Cal State East Bay in 2007. In 2009, he completed his master’s degree in Izmir University of Economics-Logistics Management.

In 2007, he started to work at Yelkenbiçer Group of Companies, which provides services in the fields of logistics, fuel, automotive and construction. He still continues to serve as the vice president of Yelkenbiçer Group of Companies and is also an accredited licensed angel investor affiliated to the Undersecretariat of Treasury.

He became a member of Aegean Young Business Association (EGIAD) in 2010. He served as a Member of the Main Board of Directors at Karşıyaka Sports Club in 2014-2015 and as a Member of the Board of Directors at Pınar Karşıyaka between 2014-2016. He was a Board Member of Bornova Anatolian High School Education Foundation between 2017-2019. He has been a member of the Board of Trustees of Bornova Anatolian High School Education Foundation since 2017. He has been a mentor at Endeavor Effective Entrepreneur Training Association since 2018.

Yelkenbiçer, who is a member of Ege University Ege Teknopark Board of Directors, has also been a member of the Izmir Chamber of Commerce İZQ Executive Board since 2019. He has been a Board Member of IZQ Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center since March 2021. He has been serving as the Vice President of the Western Anatolian Industrialists’ and Businessmen’s Federation (BASİFED) since April 2021.

He served as the Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board of EGİAD Angel Investment Network between 2016-2019 and has been the Chairman of the Board of Directors of EGİAD since March 2021.
