Zehra Öney

Zehra Öney, a futurist, mobile transformation specialist, investor, practitioner and speaker, was born in Istanbul in 1964, after her Economy education at İstanbul University, she had worked for 10 years in senior positions in Turkey’s leading agency in the tourism sector. Her carreer has continued as a Professional manager in telecommunications, mobile and digital areas in the last 15 years. Between 2002 and 2007 International Business Development at Turkcell, The European Union and The United States Relationships Director, between 2007 and 2011 Mobilera Inc. General Director and Mobilera BV Deputy General Manager.

Zehra Oney has founded her own agency, 360+ Media Interactive and she has been serving as Chairman of the Agency in 2011. In 2013, she introduced Turkey with augmented reality and visual search. Blippar is an augmented reality app that was founded in 2011 in London and have over 65 million member worldwide. Zehra Oney had been Blippar’s Turkey CEO and also a member of Blippar Global SMT (Senior Management Team) between 2014 – 2017. Currently, she continues to work as 360+ Media Interactive Founder & CEO.

Zehra Oney is the Founding Chair of Woman in Technology, Independent Board Member / Governors Committee of Dorçe Inc. since 2017, Lead Mentor of Startupbootcamp centered Turkish Mentor Movement, Mentor Effect platform, MMA (Mobile Marketing Association) Turkey Board Member and Executive Committee Member, Bahçeşehir University Executive MBA Board Member, Chairman of TAIK (Turkey-US Business Council) Corporate Communications Committee and member of Turkey Association of Women Entrepreneurs (KAGİDER). She is also an expert and executer on augmented reality (AR), artificial intelligence, internet of things (IOT) and virtual reality (VR) applications on the areas of marketing and advertising.
