ESG Türkiye Danışmanlık Genel Müdürü

Dr. Cenk TÜRKER, iş dünyasının birçok aktöründeki farklı pozisyonlarda edindiği 17 yıllık birikimin ardından sürdürülebilirlik ve yönetim alanlarında danışman olarak kaliteli hizmet sunmak üzere ESG Turkey Danışmanlık’ı kurmuştur. Akademik kariyerinin yanısıra; Birleşmiş Milletler ve Avrupa Birliği gibi uluslar üstü kuruluşlarda, kamu ve özel sektörde Sivil Toplum Kuruluşları ile yakın temasla hizmet vermiştir. Temel olarak; Stratejik Yönetim, Proje Yönetimi ve Sürdürülebilirlik alanlarına odaklanmıştır. Üniversitelerde MBA düzeyinde Stratejik Yönetim, Pazarlama Yönetimi ve Sürdürülebilirlik üzerine ders vermektedir.

Dr. Türker, aynı zamanda EBRD tarafından finanse edilen Turkey GEFF (Green Economy Financing Facility–Yeşil Ekonominin Finansmanı Projesi) ESG Uzmanı ve TKYD (Türkiye Kurumsal Yönetim Derneği) ESG Çalışma Grubu Başkan Yardımcılığı’nı yürütmekte ve BM Küresel İlkeler Sözleşmesi, CDP, TÜSİAD, Borsa İstanbul, vb. çeşitli yerel ve uluslararası paydaşlar ile ilişkileri sürmektedir.

ESG Turkey Danışmanlık’ı kurmadan önce Akbank Yatırımcı İlişkileri ve Sürdürülebilirlik Yöneticisi olarak görev yapmıştır. Bu pozisyonda; Sürdürülebilirlik Stratejisi, Sürdürülebilir Finansman, Kredilerde Çevresel & Sosyal Yönetim Sistemi, İklim Değişimi Yönetimi, Sürdürülebilirlik Eğitimleri ve Kurumsal Sosyal Sorumluluk alanlarına odaklanmıştır.

Akbank’ta sürdürülebilirlik biriminin kurulmasından önce farklı sektörlerde danışman olarak hizmet vermiştir. Danışmanlık tecrübesinden önce Birleşmiş Milletler Kalkınma Programı (UNDP) ve Avrupa Birliği Eğitim & Gençlik Programları’nda görev yapmıştır. Kariyerine, Hacettepe Üniversitesi İşletme Bölümü’nde akademisyen olarak başlamış ve projelerde yer almıştır.

Hollanda Nyenrode Business School’dan İş Etiği ve Sürdürülebilirlik, Dale Carnegie’den Stratejik Düşünme Simülasyonu ve ISO 14064 Karbon Ayak İzi, 14046 Su Ayak İzi, ISO 26000 KSS sertifikalarına sahiptir. ABD Eski Başkan Yardımcısı Al Gore tarafından yürütülen İklim Gerçekliği Projesi kapsamında (Climate Reality Project) bir İklim Lideridir. İlgi alanları arasında masa tenisi ve yelken gelmektedir.
