Bilim Virüsü Kurucusu

Şule Yücebıyık, lise yıllarında hayal ettiği gazetecilik mesleğine, İstanbul Üniversitesi İktisat Fakültesi Uluslararası İlişkiler Bölümü’nde okuduğu 1990’lı yıllarda başladı. TRT İstanbul Haber Merkezi’nde iki yılı aşkın süre muhabir olarak çalıştı. Ardından sırasıyla Yeni Yüzyıl ve Milliyet Gazetesi’nde 15 yıl boyunca muhabir- editör ve köşe yazarı olarak görev yaptı.

Kariyerine Global – Hill & Knowlton Halkla İlişkiler Ajansı’nın Başkan Yardımcısı olarak devam eden Yücebıyık, PR sektöründe geçirdiği süre içinde, sanayiden teknolojiye, finanstan perakendeye çok sayıda ulusal ve global markaya hizmet verdi.

Yücebıyık, Türkiye’nin köklü sanayii grubu Borusan’da Kurumsal İletişim Direktörü olarak 12 yıl görev yaptı.

Savunucusu olduğu Toplumsal Cinsiyet Eşitliği alanında başlattığı #SevgiDildeBaşlar ve #AdınıKoy hareketleri ile kamuoyunda etki yaratan Şule Yücebıyık’ın, Borusan adına tasarladığı bu iletişim kampanyaları Türkiye ve dünyada çok sayıda ödül kazandı ve çeşitli kurumlara ilham verdi.

Türkiye’nin en büyük kurumsal iletişim profesyoneli ağı olan, Kurumsal İletişimciler Derneği’nin Başkanı olan Şule Yücebıyık, ‘yarının iletişiminin’ etkili liderlik ve bilim temelli toplumsal fayda bilincinden geçtiğine inanıyor. Bu amaçla, kurduğu Science Of Impact platfomu ile Birleşmiş Milletler’in 17 Küresel Amaç’ına hizmet eden ‘etki projeleri’ geliştiriyor.

2018 yılında, liseli öğrencilere bilim tutkusu bulaştırma ve 21’inci yüzyıl yetkinlikleri kazandırma amacı taşıyan Bilim Virüsü adlı sosyal girişimini kuran Yücebıyık, bilimin insanlığın ortak dili olduğuna inanan gönüllü kurum ve kişilerle birlikte yüzlerce gence virüs bulaştırmaya devam ediyor.
