Youth For Climate Turkey & Fridays For Future International İklim Aktivisti

Atlas Sarrafoğlu 15 yaşında, 10uncu sınıf öğrencisi ve 2019 yılının Mart ayından bu yana iklim aktivisti. Fridays For Future Türkiye’yi kurdu. 2019 Ağustos ayında 1 haftalık iklim aktivistleri kampında Greta Thunberg ile çalışma fırsatı bularak, Nobel ödüllü bilim insanından iklim değişikliği ile ilgili eğitim aldı. 2019 Eylül ayında Greta Thunberg’in başlattığı iklim hareketi adına Uluslararası Af Örgütü’nden Vicdan Elçisi ödülünü aldı. 2019 Aralık ayında Madrid’de yapılan COP25’e Türkiye delegasyonu olarak katıldı, iklim aktivistleri ile toplantılarda yer aldı. 2020 yılında iptal edilen COP26 yerine MockCOP26 düzenleyen gençlerle birlikte tekrar Türkiye delegasyonu olarak yer aldı ve yayınlanan beyannameye imza attı.


2020 WWF Küresel Gençlik ödülünü aldı. Mehmet Zorlu Vakfı Gençlik Zirvesi, AB İklim Diplomasi haftası açılış ve kapanış programı, 16. İstanbul Bienali açılış programı gibi paneller ve platformlarda konuşmalar yaptı. WWF Tek Dünya podcast serisini hazırladı. Birleşmiş Milletler Biyoçeşitlilik Zirvesi’nde Wake Up Call, WWF Küresel Eğitim Zirvesi’nde Gençliğin Sesi, Save Thano kampanyası, World Forum For Democracy gibi platformlarda konuşmalar yaptı. 2021 Mayıs ayında TEDx Bahçeşehir için  Gezegen B Yok konuşmasını gerçekleştirdi. Şu anda Youth For Climate Türkiye’de ve Saving Tuvalu gibi küresel iklim kampanyalarında aktif olarak görev alıyor. Yeşil Gazete’de “İklim Kuşağı Konuşuyor” isimli köşesinde farklı ülkelerden iklim aktivistleri ile yaptığı röportajlarını yayınlıyor. Açık Radyo’da da aynı isimli programın yapımcı ve sunucusu.
